    The Akari "room" is about 5 minutes drive from the main RITA Yame Fukushima hotel. But the entire house is clean and definitely have the traditional vibe. The receptionist showed us to our room when we checked in (we had to follow them with our car due to the location of the room) and helped us with our luggages. They were patient when showing us around the room, amenities (green tea was provided), and recommendations around the area. The only downside is the room partition. Level 2, is partitioned into 3 "rooms" (2 room and 1 tea room). It can be tough if there are 3 unique groups staying as the one of the middle partitioned "room" does not have an AC (only a portable AC/fan of sorts). Nonetheless, great stay and would definitely return to explore the area again!

    We were wowed by Cathy the young lady who told us we could process the check in inside our room. She was very hospitable and my 2 young kids told me they liked her already. We were very surprised by the rustic walk way into our room. Room was cozy and just right for us. We were 3 adults 2 kids and booked for 4 adults. They were kind enough to provide complimentary half portion breakfast for my younger one. There is private Onsen bucket in the shower room. We had a great time!
