I had booked Everest stays seeing the photos of the room online and mainly because it was inside the city with a very easy connect to most places. The suburban railway and metro stations are walkable from this place. But the stay was a disappointment. The room is at 3rd floor with no lift facility and not any kind of help with carrying luggage. The room itself was good with pretty good space for a family of 2 with a child. But there were lot of mosquitos and the bed was too firm to get any kind of sleep. It was old and was like a rock. The linens were worn out and they didn't have proper replacements. Horrible bed sheets and not something you would want to use for a child. The toilet flush would not have water after 9pm and only god knows when it will start working the next day. But at least water supply was there and the bathroom was still usable. Geyser was working well which was a plus. The staff there was stern and only hesitantly responded to any request. The sad thing was our request was only for basic things like a dust bin, a mosquito repellent to sleep peacefully at night and change of linens (which they did but were frustrated, can't help 😂). Ultimately they provided these after requesting, but it shouldn't have even gone to that space of requesting these items. They were all basic. The hotel at ground floor 'Vihar' was good, can either dine in or get parcels. Fortunately they allowed bringing in food parcel. The staff there were fine. But they need to be trained on hospitality and to think towards how a family can stay there. Not everyone can stay in their dormitory/room with unclean, torn linens and mosquitos. This facility needs proper maintenance and more empathising staff. Note : No water bottles or towels/toiletries will be provided. So suit yourself. And be mindful of climbing 3 floors with no light in the evening at 2nd floor. No entry is allowed after 1am in the night, we didn't have any issues there. But people traveling at night in Mumbai need to be mindful of this.

THIS PLACE IS AN ACTIVE PUBLIC HEALTH HAZARD. SO UNHYGIENIC AND POORLY MAINTAINED. PICTURES ARE A TOTAL SCAM.
