Hilltop Seaview Goa

First time visited the place and location wise very nice

We recently stayed at Hilltop Seaview Resort in Goa and unfortunately had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. What was advertised as a scenic, budget-friendly option turned out to be poorly maintained and downright unsafe. Basic room amenities were completely missing: no side tables, no tea/coffee-making facilities. We had to specifically request a kettle, which staff placed on the bed for us to use – hardly a safe or convenient solution. The bathroom was in a shocking state: the toilet seat was broken and came off completely, and the sink and tap were not properly attached or functional, rendering them useless. Most alarmingly, this place felt very unsafe, especially for lone female travellers or small groups. One night, a stranger (a man) attempted to enter my sister’s room. She was absolutely terrified and shaken by the incident. Security and staff response were inadequate, leaving us feeling vulnerable throughout our stay. In the end, no amount of “cheap” pricing is worth risking your safety or dealing with such negligence. I strongly advise others – particularly solo female travellers or anyone prioritizing basic comfort and security – to stay far away from this property. If you’re looking for a relaxing Goa getaway, there are much better and safer options available, even in the same price range.
