    The only good things about Hotel Pacific Grand are the location (near Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh) and the decent food. The rest of the stay was a masterclass in terrible infrastructure and false advertising. The Water Scam: Agoda explicitly lists "free packed drinking water." The hotel ignored this and charged ₹30 per bottle. Zero Power Backup in June Heat: We stayed for two days, and both days had massive power outages lasting until 2:30 AM. Their "backup" only runs one light and one ceiling fan. No AC, no exhaust fan, no wall plugs, and zero cross-ventilation. We were literally roasting in a suffocating room, which conveniently forced us to buy more of their overpriced water just to survive. Hygiene & Basic Amenities: We checked in to dirty bedsheets. For toiletries, they provide a tiny soap and a single towel. Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and actual bath soap. Tech & Lift Failures: The lift dies during the power cuts. The room has a TV, but it's a useless brick their WiFi wouldn't connect to it, there are no channels, and even when I connected my own mobile hotspot, the YouTube app lagged so hard it was unwatchable. If you enjoy paying to sleep in an unventilated sauna with dirty sheets and false amenities, this is your spot. Otherwise, avoid at all costs.

    Overall it was good experience, the room was clean, the bathroom is spacious. Just the electricity cut is something which was off. Rest everything was great.

    Pictures on agoda were so different than the reality but the staff was cooperative, friendly. Location was amazing. There were no ac and elevator on invertor which caused a little inconvenience. Could be better but overall worth the money I paid with discount for three adults.
