It is a good place to stay if you want to be closer to the beach. The ac rooms are clean and but the ones with fan are not. Also the staff is not proactive in solving customer issues.

Had a good time at Shankar by the Sea. Great pricing, great stay, great location. Clean and peaceful. Overall, had a good time. Coming back to the same spot whenever I'm at Goa. Recommending all!
