Anthrazit Oasis near Center Shoppingstreet 3 room

The apartment is exactly as the photos show, clean, comfortable, comfy beds, nice and bright, a great base for an adventure in Vienna. It's location is fantastic, you can walk to the old town, but why would you, 5 mins from a terrific transport hub that will whisk you anywhere in Vienna in minutes, the ubahn U3, the no. 6, 18 and 47 trams... 2 supermarkets near by, the area looks sparse but is 8 minutes walk from the main shopping street, mariahiferstraBe, and 5 minutes from the Vienna arena for events etc... The entrance way may shock you a bit as it look a little run down, and pasting the address into Google will tell you it is part of Hostel Elizabeth, which has terrible reviews, but this is separate, has its own entrance etc... The Hostel is next door.... But by the end of the week we thought the entrance way was charming in its own way! The area feels very safe and is quiet at night. Very happy with our stay.

A couple of minor things, might make future visits even better... It would have been nice to have a welcome pack or folder with supermarkets, map of the area, a bit about the travel options, we found it all out but after a day or two of trial and error. Other easy wins would be washing up liquid and a sweeping brush, more toilet paper and dishwasher tablets ... And 1 towel per person for a week stay is not enough really even with a washing machine.

Die Tapeten und Einrichtung

Die Toilettenbrille war sehr instabil, man musste beim rauf Sitzen achten dass nicht alles runter fällt. Es waren keine Kleiderkästen im Schlafzimmer. Das Wasser in der Küche war lange nicht warm.

Los vecinos de al lado tenían mucha basura en el pasillo delante del ascensor , pero el apartamento y todo muy bien !! Todo súper

Beside the kitchen, the apartment is pretty big and well decorated.

First of all, the door couldn't be locked with the key - you can only shout the door but can't turn the key - the staff had no solution to that and we found it disturbing. Second, there was a very strong cigarette smell!! Also, the heating didn't work, which was unclear, because at the evening it was pretty cald in the shower and we couldn't heat and the paint in the shower is folding which was made the area look neglected. Moreover we felt like the host is pretty cheap - we had just a few coffee capsules and this kind of capsules couldn't be found anywhere, you only get one laundry capsule - so if you need more they expect you to buy a whole box? First time I stayed in an apartment where I had to buy the most basics. Sure this stay is not the most expensive one, but at least give your guests the basics.
