I traveled to Egypt for three weeks. I'm an independent budget traveler, and I have to say that this room was the largest, best equipped, most comfortable room and bed that I had during my visit to Egypt. The bed was large and comfortable. The room had a couple of night tables, a desk, an armoire, and a television. The bathroom was spotless and there was plenty of really hot water. Katy, the person who checked me in at the front desk, was very attentive and kind, and professional. There were large, west facing windows overlooking the street below, and good curtains/drapes to block out the sun in the afternoon or light at night. The location is on the edge of Giza, just a couple of blocks from the entry to the Sphynx, and another couple of blocks to the main entrance for the pyramids. The side street where the hotel is located is quieter than other streets in the area.

My room was on the first floor, above the lobby. I would have preferred a higher floor room. Regardless, it was fine. None of the rooms have a view of the pyramids. All rooms face west, away from the pyramids. There is a great view towards the Sphynx and pyramids from the terrace, however. I was told breakfast would be served at 8 am. I went to the terrace around 8 o'clock and waited for about 20 minutes, and still no one was around. I thought I misunderstood. Later, I was informed that breakfast was being served, but by then it was too late and I needed to head out.

I rebooked this wonderful hotel. Just couldn't leave, loved it so much! Do yourself a favour and stay there! Enjoy the unique view from the best rooftop in Giza!!!
