I failed to stay in access to this residence because, for the first time in 150 bookings, I found it impossible to arrive on the spot and gain entry. In most bookings, a code is issued for a main door, and a second code for the key for the residence; sometimes, one is has the luxury of a 24/7 reception, sometimes the owner is there at the property. In this case, 24 hours notice had to be given to the apartment manager, so that he could be there. I do not blame the apartment for our miscommunication: when one receives so many messages via this website, it is easy to become blase and to assume that one of the first three conditions will happen. Dans ce cas précis, j'ai dû prévenir le gestionnaire de l'appartement 24 heures à l'avance pour qu'il puisse être présent. Je ne reproche pas à la résidence ce malentendu : lorsqu'on reçoit autant de messages via ce site, il est facile de se relâcher et de supposer que l'une des trois premières conditions se réalisera. Les numéros de téléphone fournis ne fonctionnaient pas pour moi: ma faute ? Celle de la résidence ? Je ne le saurai jamais.
