    I booked this resort for its proximity to Port Ghalib, for a few days relaxation before a diving liveaboard. I was pretty disappointed and wish I’d paid more to stay elsewhere. The room was ok but very basic. A lot of the power outlets in the wall didn’t work so I couldn’t charge any devices in the bedroom. It was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable but basic and a bit run down. The room looked nothing like the photos. Front desk staff were friendly and somewhat helpful but didn’t find the pool staff very friendly. Some of the pool towels were very old, thin and dirty like a cleaning rag. Food options very limited. There’s a large buffet restaurant and the breakfast was ok, but despite the size of the evening buffet the food wasn’t great quality and there wasn’t much i actually wanted to eat. Even though I paid for half board I went out to eat on my last night because I couldn’t face the buffet again. Apart from the buffet there aren’t many options to eat in the hotel. No room service and no food options by the pool. I was told to go over the road to the aqua park if I wanted to get a snack or light lunch. In summary, it was adequate for 4 nights but I was glad to leave and wished I had spent more for a better hotel. I’d call it 3 stars at best.
