    We gave a Chinese Hotel a chance during our China trip as it is located right next to the metro, but we regret it. Both of my legs got bitten by most probably bed bugs (maybe even flees, but I checked them at the Doctor, he said looks like Bed Bug bites!!!) You can always take minus 3 stars off in China, they never meet the Western Standards of clean. The room was dusty, smelled like cigarettes, not super dirty but also not clean. The sheets felt itchy and our bodies started to itch in the bed, the day after I had on my lover legs everywhere bed bug bites. So disgusting, it ruined the whole stay!!! The towels also smelled like cigarettes. I would not recommend to ever stay in a Chinese chain of Hotels, rather go for the Western known names, otherwise you end of getting bitten.
