    Property design looks nice, got good breakfast and late night congee, they have a robot to deliver delivery to your room, got a gym as well

    Unless you have a specific hotel you want to try out, if you're not sure about value for money, just book Atour. I just arrived in Chengdu and the hotel I booked was so awful I have run away to the Atour in Wuhouci for cheaper than the awful site I was just at. If you finnickety about having a full "western" or continental breakfast skip here, but if you don't mind a modest Chinese spread, fruit, fried egg options, and cereal, then it's good for you. I just ate Zhou, Yangzhou fried rice and delicious sweet fruit every morning as I wanted something simple for the actual food I'd be eating outside. Service was great too for my needs. There's washing machines at this site. The hotel smells good. The finishings are good. Self flushing toilet. Good pressure, hot water for your showers. For my needs, the location was good. Limited English, they will use a translation app but I speak enough Mandarin to just use that.

    Atour is one of China's leading hotel chains and a crowd favorite of the Chinese despite intense competition among hotels in the country. The buffett was extensive and good and of fresh quality. Of note was the excellent service with staff going out of their way to make your stay comfortable and helping you out with unrelated stuff as it can be a struggle to navigate Chinese apps without a local number. The location is a bit of a downer though with the metro line not easily accessible. We made do with using the local cab aggregator Didi which helped with inexpensive cabs. You would be better off checking for other options with better connectivity to public transport if you want to experience the local life. In a pinch, we were traveling during the peak season, the hotel wasn't bad. Hope this review helps!
