    Apart from one plumpish lady who is always on her phone, and smokes at the convenience store at the same building, the staff have been very good.

    The drainage system is terrible—the bathroom floods every time you shower. On the plus side, housekeeping is very responsive to requests. However, the laundry room is a nightmare to use; you have to timing your visits perfectly just to snag a machine. The gym is basically just for show as there’s hardly any equipment. The late-night congee was decent, and I have to admit, the pillows are actually really comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, but internal noise is an issue. ​Located in a residential and university district, the environment is relatively peaceful, though it requires a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station. Unfortunately, the hotel's soundproofing is subpar. My first-floor room was plagued by noise from the front desk telephone and audible water flow in the drainage pipes throughout the night.
