-Located just feet from a community boat ramp
-No dock at this time, but kayaks and a canoe are provided for you to float right down to the cabin from nearby Firey Forks

Beautiful on inside. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Host was very attentive and responded quickly. Love it had available kayaks and convenience to take out to lake for sunset. Very quiet. Lots of games and DVDs. Great kitchen to cook with all the necessities available.

If you are looking for a place out of the small bustle of Osage Beach or Camdenton, this is the place for you. Winding roads will take you to a very quiet strip of gravel road with other weekenders and a few full-timer homes. The area is heavily wooded and the deer are abundant. Fishing from the boat ramp is the only option (we did try fishing off a small patch of grass next to a private dock and were told to move- understandable and we had no problem honoring the request of the homeowner to not be on his property). Catch a few catfish from the ramp, but beware of water snakes there. House itself was a great cabin, with well-working air conditioning (whew!). Had upgrades in bathrooms and kitchen and anything you could need in regard to household items/ kitchen items was provided. Owner left us great instructions and even some smores kits! 4-Wheel drive is recommended as the gravel driveway is very steep. No wifi in the home- with AT&T I had 0-1 bars and patchy service. My parents have Boost and they had emergency only service on their devices.
