The property is bright and clean, well equipped, comfortable and homely. The situation in Bakklandet near the Old Bridge is unbeatable, easily reached on foot from the train station, and quiet. The windows have views over the river and the Cathedral, wonderful particularly at night. We did not expect to find the host's clothing and personal effects, as it was not indicated on the booking site. However, this did not prove to be an issue. Our host was easily reached by text. We warmly recommend this charming place. So much to discover, within easy walking distances! Next time, I hire a bike, too!

We would welcome a folder with clear instructions for the use of the remotes upstairs - we are not tech savvy! The residents also need to know more clearly how to dispose of the rubbish. I have asked our host in a note I left on the dining table. He responded quickly and very pleasantly.
