All excellent - a lovely stay in a cosy, well designed and finished atelier with a great breakfast.

We had booked for room only but realised when we heard about breakfast that we might stay for it. The house from the road is a little plain and unexciting, but once inside it is a delight. Sam, our host, met us at the gate and took us to our room. Our Atelier room was a delight. Beautifully designed, decorated and lit, all worked very well, windows, curtains and the shower and facilities plus all the equipment you need to have a comfortable stay - the bed was excellent. The really lovely breakfast is delivered to your door and all works very smoothly - we wish we could have stayed longer.

All was wonderful and Sam gave us a great tip for our evening meal that was great fun. Perhaps a bigger sign on the bell!

Welcoming, helpful and a lovely stay.

Location was great. Easy to find and it was in exactly the right spot for our journey as we passed through the area. Sam was really helpful before we arrived sharing ideas for local restaurants and even offered help to secure our motorcycles overnight. We ate at the cave next door on Sam’s recommendation and it was lovely too. The room was clean, very comfortable and well decorated. The bed was perfect and combined with the blackout blinds meant that we had a great nights sleep. The building is on a road but we heard nothing from it all night. Now, special mention goes to Sam for the breakfast. After years of travelling all over the world and our frequent use of services like booking.com and Airbnb etc… I can honestly say that the breakfast was one of the best and most generous I have seen. It was very beautifully presented, delivered to our room door, wonderfully tasty and there was almost too much for us. It set us up well for a long day on the bikes.

Chambre magnifiquement décorée et très spacieuse. Parfaitement adaptée pour notre famille avec deux enfants ! L’accueil de Sam a été très chaleureux et il nous a proposé pleins de bonnes adresses pour le dîner. Enfin, le petit-déjeuner est un régal. Nous recommandons très fortement !

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette jolie maison. L’emplacement était idéal, l’accueil parfait (merci à Sam pour sa gentillesse). La chambre était très jolie, confort absolu et au calme. Le petit déjeuner etait juste incroyable. Vraiment merci pour tout.

Le seul détail qui nous a un peu fait tiquer, ce sont les wc ouverts, sans porte. Même si ce n’est pas dans l’axe de la chambre, j’avoue que c’est un détail auquel il faut tenir compte. Nous étions descendues entre amies et nous nous sommes dit que même pour un couple, ce n’est pas forcément idéal.

Dans un environnement plutôt banal, un Havre de paix et de gentillesse de la part de Sam dont l'accueil est un véritable plaisir. Sa maison divisée en petits appartements récemment réalisés sont parfaitement agencés et accueillants. Un apéritif gentiment offert et un petit déjeuner comme on en souhaiterait tous les jours. Bref, un escale à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte.

Magnifique 🤩

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux ! Le logement était impeccable, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, calme et pourtant tout proche de ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité de notre hôte, avec qui les échanges ont été très faciles et agréables. Le stationnement pratique est un vrai atout, et le petit déjeuner, digne d’un 5 étoiles, a été la cerise sur le gâteau. Un grand merci pour cette belle expérience, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Perfekt für eine Zwischenübernachtung

Sam hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, half uns mit dem Gepäck und hatte gute Empfehlungen für das Abendessen. Als wir vom Essen zurückkamen, haben wir noch in der benachbarten Weinbar -auch sein Tipp - zwei schöne Gläser auf ihn getrunken, jeder natürlich. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

De passage a Montluçon nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit .Très bon accueil par l'hôte, Sam. À nos petits soins. La chambre était très très très propre , la literie de qualité. Linge de toilette irréprochable.. Le petit déjeuné exceptionnel,un large choix, sucré/ salé. Café à l'italienne, jus d'orange pressé frais. Confitures maison. Bravo. Nous reviendrons ici les yeux fermés.

Perfekt!

Die Unterkunft ist extrem geschmacksvoll eingerichtet! Der Empfang war überaus freundlich und herzlich. Das Frühstück war absolut wahnsinnig! Unglaublich fein. (Best ever!!!!) Der Park, der zwar noch nicht ganz fertig ist, war der Traum für unsere vier Buben. Wir kommen gerne wieder um zu schauen, welche Ideen sonst noch umgesetzt werden!
