It was alright!

Location was excellent, 6min walk from the nearest metro station, only 20 or so mins walk from the buzz of Dotonbori area. Well stocked combini directly opposite.
Room was lovely, really nice size, and very nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room, as well as shared kitchen facilities downstairs and washing machines which were free to use.
The only downside was the street outside was surprisingly noisy in the early morning (our room looked directly out onto the street with the hostel entrance) as we slept with the window open. Loud traffic noise with deliveries and bin lorries throughout the early hours of the morning. This didn't bother me too much as I was happy to wake up early anyway - but worth noting as it seems to be a very quiet area generally, so it really surprised me the on first morning!

Really clean and well located both to explore Osaka and to do day trips. Comfy beds, room with fridge and a/c.
There is only 3 showers for women in the entire building, one in the 5th floor and 2 more on the 6th. There is 4 rooms per floor except in the 5th in which there's 2 rooms. So, if the hostel is fully booked it can get challenging to have a shower
