Family Apartment, Duomo 12 min Walk, 5 Guests, Near Covered PARKING

The single bed not good enough for a third person.

The location and cleanliness of the property were great! The Number 9 tram stops very close as do others, but this was the one we used most often. It goes directly to the Central Station area...which connects you to many transportation options like metro, airport trains, etc.

The air conditioning unit was noisy as were some neighbors upstairs, the hot water took a long time to replenish but our host suggested increasing the boiler temperature which helped to offset how much we used therefore needing to replenish less, and there was no hot water in the kitchen sink. We mentioned that a couple of times, but it was not addressed. Those were all pretty minor overall...and we were comfortable and felt secure in the apartment.

The location of this apartment is honestly amazing. The neighborhood felt very safe and nice. I didn’t see anything shady or uncomfortable at all, which was such a relief compared to my past experience in Milan. The walk to the Duomo is about 19 minutes (not 12 as stated), but it’s a really pleasant walk through a beautiful area, so you won’t even feel the time. The apartment itself was very clean and smelled great when we arrived. They also provide water and an espresso machine so you just need to bring your own capsules, which is a nice touch. The location is super convenient: there’s a Spontini pizza place nearby, a coffee shop right downstairs, a supermarket next to the building, and even a McDonald’s about a 5-minute walk away. The host was very responsive, and the check-in and check-out process was very easy, just a simple form to fill out.

My only real complaint is about the shutters. They were not good at all, some didn’t close properly, and one was stuck halfway. Even the one that worked didn’t block the sunlight well, so as soon as the sun rises, the room becomes very bright. If you need proper sleep, this can be a big issue. Also, we were a family of five, and while the apartment can accommodate five people, the sofa beds were very uncomfortable, especially the larger one. It kept shifting while I was sleeping and ended up hurting my back.
