Corte L'Ovo - Country House 15 min from the heart of Verona

Old but in very good condition 3 floor house! Excellent for families. Outside crowdy cities. Need car for your trips from the house. The owner was very gentle and helpful!

Amazing character! Quiet, clean, plenty of cutlery and equipment. We are big on cooking even on holidays and we had all we needed to do this. We also had a BBQ when we were there. We loved the amount of space we had especially the garden for our little guy and the gate gave good security for him to walk around. It was close to Verona, not super close to Lake Garda (about one hour so I guess depends on what you deem as close) but for us we preferred this as it meant it was lovely and quiet in the evenings - Lake Garda is exceptionally busy and I think likely noisy the closer you are to it.

If you are staying on the top floor you are certainly getting your steps in. We ended up going during a heatwave so it was unbearably hot inside but not much can be done about this! Maybe review the weather before you go 😂

Das Haus ist sehr alt, die Türe sehen noch ursprünglich aus, was dem Haus eine Seele verleiht. Gleichzeitig ist es gut akustisch isoliert, so dass man den Verkehr kaum hört. Die Betten waren bequem (wir waren zu 8 und es gab 4 große Betten). Das Bad im ersten Stock hat neue Duschkabine, im zweiten ist die Kabine relativ klein. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten 2 kleinere Probleme, so dass wir den Gastgeber kontaktieren mussten und dieser hat schnell reagiert und die Probleme behoben, wofür wir ihm sehr dankbar sind. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und wir haben sehr genossen dort zu frühstücken.

Riscaldamento era messo molto basso al nostro arrivo, ed essendo la casa molto grande per arrivare ad una temperatura piacevole ci sono voluti 2gg..tempo che poi siamo andati via.
