The beds were very comfortable and it was adequately outfitted with the necessities.
First, the parking situation. We spoke with the neighbours and learned that parking there just requires a phone call to provide the vehicle registeation number, which they were happy to do for us. That should be easily coordinated. Second, the missing smoke detectors. It was irresponsible and dangerous to allow the property to be occupied without working smoke detectors on both levels, especially the upper level. Hopefully, that will be sorted before the next guest arrives. Third, the automatic closing doors were really annoying, especially as there were not enough doorstops to keep all the doors open without moving furniture around. And finally, the square toilet in the ensuite bathroom. It's a personal thing but that is an abomination that should be relegated to the dump as soon as possible.
