Our stay at The Bird House was truly memorable, and my family and I personally loved it. The location is beautiful, and the property has a charming old-world, heritage feel that makes it unique. It’s perfect for those who appreciate character and nature.
That said, if you’re looking for a very modern stay with flawless amenities, this may not be the right fit, as there are a few hiccups that need to be fixed urgently. And also wish if the
Alex, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable. I do hope the property gets a bit of attention and restoration, as it has so much potential to be absolutely exceptional.
One thing I felt could really improve the first impression is the front lawn and entrance area, which seemed a bit neglected. With some care, the gateway to this bird paradise could truly reflect the beauty of what’s inside.
Being surrounded by birds and possums added to the peaceful, nature-filled experience—we really had a lovely time.

The house was well renovated , very comfy, perfect to relax and with everything needed. Great location surrounded by a beautiful forest. The host Alex and his son makes our stay enjoyable, and were very flexible when we checked out. We definitely recommend this unique bird house!
