The Hay Barn consists of a kitchen/diner with dining seating for six, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of two doubles and a twin all of which are en-suites. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio, picnic bench, and hot tub plus designated, off-road parking spaces for two cars. Sorry, no smoking and no pets at this property. There is a highchair and travel cot available. Guests can find a shop within 3.1 miles and a pub in 1.7 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A stay at The Hay Barn promises to be one to remember. Please Note: This property only accepts check ins on Monday and Friday.

Town: With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, the bustling town of Thirsk boasts a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, and a Norman church. Here there are a selection of excellent pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre, as well as independent stores to be browsed at your leisure. Visit the World of James Herriott Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the town’s own famous vet and author or explore the surrounding rolling countryside and Hambleton Hills, offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities.
