About this house rental
Welcome to my hidden gem in plain sight in the 1000 Islands. Twin Island is loaded with all the charm and warmth a family cottage has to offer. Wether you are looking to do some ship watching, enjoy a river sunrise or sunset, incredible fishing, touring this majestic area of the St.Lawrence river, or just want to sit on the porch and watch the river roll by, Twin island has the best of all of it. Located directly in front of historic T.I. Park, directly on the main shipping channel, 15 minutes from Clayton and Alexandria Bay, you will be right in the middle of all the 1000 Islands, with complete privacy.
There are 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms have a queen size bed and the fourth has two queens. There is one full bath upstairs and one full bath downstairs.The living room has a queen pull out sleeper sofa and two twin pull out chairs.
You will need a boat! If you don’t have a boat, there are many boat rental places nearby in Clayton and Alexandria Bay and the surrounding areas. ( I highly recommend Mac’s boat rentals in Alexandria Bay!).The deep water side of the dock will fit a 40 foot cruiser and the inside of the dock will fit a 20 foot boat. The boat house is currently not usable.
All kitchen utensils, linens (including bath towels and beach towels) are provided. All you need to bring is a bathing suit, food, toiletries and a smile!

Our family had an amazing week at the beautiful Twin Islands. The property offers so much; great outdoor space with plenty of docking and seating, comfortable beds, a spacious indoor living room and dining room, and a kitchen with high-quality amenities. Morning coffee on the deck while watching the ships go by was a real pleasure. This island has so much to offer for a great vacation.

The property itself and the home were were very clean. The owners were always available to answer any questions and very attentive to respond. A nice touch was having a water dispenser for clean drinking water and plenty of refill jugs. We really enjoyed having the entire island to ourselves watching the freighters and boats go by from our own deck. Great sunset views as well. Really appreciated that they collected the garbage from our stay over the week. Very nice touch and much appreciated so that we could just relax and enjoy our family vacation. Would highly recommended.
