This is a cool little spot with a very retro vibe. A few things to know:This house is "pet friendly" - my sons and I are all pretty sensitive to pet dander and we did our share of sniffling and sneezing. This house is fairly "close" to Sequoia, but it's still a good 90 minute drive from the top of the mountain. You just can't really stay a whole lot closer than that. Nothing in town opens very early, so stock up on snacks and stuff the night before you head into the parks. We tried to get an early start and realized we wouldn't be able to buy anything before 7.

The backyard is absolutely serene. Loved the area of three rivers, and was great for exploring Sequoia/Kings Canyon. My only critique would be somewhat dated, but perfectly functional bathrooms, and some cobwebs outside that could be cleaned up.

My children and family absolutely LOVED this place!We spent the weekend visiting the national park.The house is about 15 minutes from the park entrance. The home is clean with plenty of towels and blankets..central ac and heating..Nicely stocked kitchen and laundry amenities. The pool is super clean and river access at the bottom of the property..nice hot tub with views to relax with.. bring mosquitoe repellent...the mosquitoe activity is REAL because of the river...No complaints! Thank you for having us!
