Discover the beauty of Buffalo Lake and Montello from this charming lakefront 3-bedroom 2-bath house.
This delightful property features 2 queen beds and 1 bunk bed, perfect for families or groups of friends. With amenities like WiFi, AC, hot tub, kayaks, dock and boat house with a deck featuring a solo stove firepit and seating, guests can feel right at home.
The home features a finished breezeway with seating, books and games and a flat screen tv as well as a washer and dryer in the basement. A fenced front yard is an ideal play area for children.
Buffalo Lake is a 2,179 acre lake with four public boat landings and offering excellent fishing including panfish, catfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye. The lake has a maximum depth of about eight feet and although the water is quite warm (upper 70's in the summer) it is not ideal for swimming due to its weedy nature. It is excellent for kayaking, paddle boarding and boating.
Located just outside the town of Montello, this property is thirty miles from Wisconsin Dells, twenty miles from Green Lake and a short drive to many other exciting Wisconsin attractions and recreational opportunities. Use this private retreat as your base for exploring or just relax on the two hundred square foot deck with expansive lake views.

This was the perfect stay to celebrate our anniversary. The property was clean and provided all necessary items. We would love to go back and bring our adult kids next time!

The property was very clean, provided extra towels and bedding/blankets which was nice. They also provided a lot of extras that many rentals do not, including games, basketball, wi-fi, smore pokers, paper plates, shampoo, wood for the fire, etc. The fishing wasnt the greatest, as its pretty green and mucky around the pier but it was still fine. The hot tub was ready to use and was very relaxing. The grill was easy to use and worked great. The only outdoor recommendation I would have is to have lighting for the first wood stairs and the step down to get on the roof of the boat house. Overall, its a really nice space and we would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The view was absolutely stunning, and we spent hours just taking it all in. The house was clean and modern with a “lake house” vibe. The kids loved kayaking right from the dock, and we found a great restaurant nearby at Drew’s for dinner. We also took advantage of a beautiful hiking trail just a short drive away. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. We can’t wait to return!
