Pretty little spot. Fishing was great. Nice yard. Saw deer everyday. Game room sold it. The place to be when it stormed.

Family had a wonderful time. Home was beautiful, check in was easy and communication with owner was quick. Kitchen was well stocked bedroom and living room furniture was all very comfy. Everyone in the party really enjoyed the supplied kayaks and paddleboards. Fishing was a nice bonus,plenty of bass and panfish. Basement was amazing like a step back in time. Wildlife in yard was a nice way to start the day.

The lake is not swimmable- especially right off the pier and it's tiny! The only way you are going to be able to enjoy the lake is if you rent a boat and even then your options of swimming are slim because the lake is so weedy. We dropped anchor in the middle so we could get out in tubes to float. The house is old and clearly had a leak in the hallway upstairs as the ceiling was caved in with a dehumidifier below and towel to catch the water on the floor upon arrival. The lawn is huge but unusable due to amount of goose poop that is on it - understandably out of the owner's control. The only bed that was comfortable was the king bed and the second bathroom is downstairs by all the games. A little inconvenient when all the bedrooms are upstairs and you have a house full of guests. Reclined a chair and found alot of debris under it including old food. Only one kitchen towel and two trash bags so we did have to go to town to get more. Plenty of kitchen cookware to use which was nice and ALOT of wood for campfires which was really nice as well! Thankful for the kayaks to be able to get out but the paddleboards are very old and very dirty so we didn't use them. All in all - I wouldn't stay here again especially for the price. If the lake were nicer and you could actually get in the water from the pier I could understand the price - feel like you're paying for the game room more than anything.
