The resort town of Lahr is located on the western edge of the Black Forest, on the eastern side of the Rhine Valley, at the foothills of the Schutter Valley.
Lahr, a city known for its culture and shopping, offers its visitors nearly unlimited opportunities for leisure and recreation. Whether you’d like to take a stroll through the historic pedestrian zone in the city center, enjoy a walk through the unique city park, or hike to scenic viewpoints such as the Schutterlindenberg or the Geroldseck castle ruins—there’s something for everyone.
Visitors can also look forward to fine Baden cuisine and the region’s excellent wines. A highlight for foodies!
Lahr also offers a wide range of cultural and sporting activities.
Its proximity to Switzerland, Alsace, and, of course, the Black Forest makes Lahr an ideal starting point for excursions. For families, the proximity to nature and the appeal of the nearby Europa-Park in Rust are particularly enticing.
The house is located in a quiet area. There is an underground parking space or outdoor parking spots in front of the house, free of charge, subject to availability. You can also park for free on the street (side streets).
