It was such a lovely stay the owner was a delight and very helpful. Great pool for a cool off and lovely comfy bedrooms. Everything was provided even beach towels. There is a bar just to the right of the property which was great fun and shuts around 9pm so no late night noise which was good. If you need washing done the little laundry on the street just behind Sailors House is excellent. 60 baht a kilo which is about standard charge here and smelt amazing. She even got the coffee stain out of a white t shirt which I doubt I’d of managed at home! At the top of the road there is a 7/11 and another supermarket and pharmacy. A great coffee/ breakfast spot and superb fried chicken from the stall next to it. The lady next to 7/11 does the best sausages! If you want a meal with a view I can recommend Koa View. Turn right at the top of the road from Sailors and it’s on the left at the top of the hill. Highly recommend the stir fried basil with seafood and their Thai green curry. Can also recommend Serene Beach Spa if you fancy a massage! Turn left at the top of the road it’s about 6/7 minutes by car.

These are not criticism but things to be aware of if you are booking. The beach is not suitable for swimming as it is used mainly for tour boats. You can walk further up and get in the sea but the beach there is very littered such a shame as it could be lovely. Hopefully the area will become more popular as it is stunning and more care will be taken of the beach. You will definitely need a car or a scooter here if you want to get about. We rented off the owner which was a great help
