Rosewood Cottage - Rustic Country Stay - at Wild Wood Park Retreat

The garden was very beautiful, most enjoyable and relaxing to spend time in. The location was great, far enough away from the Highway to not hear the trucks but close enough to get to all the attractions easily. The house was clean and the beds very comfortable. There was a lot of interesting historical information provided in the property. The basket of goodies provided by the owners was very kind of them and most appreciated.

It might suit some but the house was very cluttered with just too many plastic plants and flowers everywhere. Hard to find space to put anything down.

Love a cute cottage & homely . Had all the facilities , close to town . They had thought of everything - a great hamper of goodies - heaters on for our arrival .

Firstly, you need to understand that the cottage is a genuine heritage building. The cottage remains in the original structural form including weatherboard cladding without interior walls. That said, the creative treatment of both the exterior and interior is extraordinary. The development of this story of Rosewood Cottage is a story of the talents of the owners, Michele and Kirri. Beyond the artistic contributions that are reflected in every nook and cranny, the facilities available are like no other that I have found. Anything that you might need to use, want to have available is within not only the cottage but the property. You would need days to use all the things that available. Quality products to supplement your stay are on hand. Home made soaps are another nice touch. A hamper of goodies greet you upon arrival. Each room has its own character and a level of comfort. Summer or winter and your room provides. There is a wonderful verandah to relax on. The gardens feature two wonderful bottle trees and a range other features that provide a relaxing setting. The team are always on hand to support you and are keen to help at any time. Tambo is a quirky little town and it is indeed fortunate to have Rosewood Cottage promote its value and attactions.

Not much that I can think of as the spell of Rosewood drew me to a great experience.

The artistic owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make the cottage pretty, interesting and quirky without compromising on the mod cons that one needs these days. Nice quiet garden to relax in. Easy walk to town, friendly helpful hosts. Took lots of photos of the decor to show friends.

Almost perfect but the table was too small for 3 to eat at it. I needed a larger saucepan than they had and the bathroom sink was just cold water - so not great for shaving. Shower was nice and hot though.
