The Hideout - private luxury cabin near the sea with spa, patio area, and parking

It was so quiet and relaxing, the hot tub was lovely and very secluded. The property was spotlessly clean and the host was lovely too. The bed was very comfortable and it was a perfect getaway. We loved everything about it!

Amazing location, clear instructions on how to get there and parking, using key code and facilities! Clean, tidy and good use of space!

The only thing is that the spa area isn’t directly connected to the cabin area so it feels a bit disjointed but this doesn’t effect the use of either

Cute lodge decorated well and private (as long as no one is using the spa facilities the morning your still there) liked the little touches with toiletries plus washing up liquid and tea towels, also had dressing gowns that was a nice extra, is close the Hythe seafront is a only 10 minute walk, and you can hire rowing boats in the canal, hills to the property are extremely steep though, the water front restaurant is also worth a visit, the have live singers some evenings aswel

Biggest issue… the hot tub was separate to the lodge which we thought was weird and didn’t like, was a miss understanding regarding the use of the spa we presumed was for the duration of the stay as always has been when we stay in properties with hot tubs, this isn’t mentioned in information before booking, in the welcome message it says 3pm-9pm we took this we couldn’t use after 9pm but thought could use the next day, we found out this wasn’t the case, the host advised this was due to cleaning and sanitising was needed for 6 hours before next guest, but then at 10am whilst we was still in our lodge, someone turned up looking for the spa as they had hired it for the day, so basically we couldn’t use as they had hired it out whilst we was there and the host lied about this, which then also made our ‘private’ lodge not so private, so we decided to leave earlier then was planning. Also there is no sea view from the actual lodge only when outside the front of the property the lodge is tuck away around the back. Would also make it better if there was some kind of cooking facility, either a built in area for a disposal bbq or a fire pit that can cook on, or even just an air fryer.
