Super comfortable apartment and realy friendly / helpful host. The place had a real homely feel and our kids were super happy staying there. The ground floor apartment was almost right next to the train station, making it really convenient for catching the train through to Hallstat & Salzburg. Lots of wonderful walks to do to Bad Aussee township and also other destinations in the area (we did the Alphengarten which was super)

Nothing really to dislike. We had a really good stay and were very lucky with the weather. The price for this accommodation was very high but probably market rate for the time of year we were there (school holidays). For key collection from the key box, guests should check the latest message from the host on their Booking.com app. We initially tried using the PIN showing on our original Booking.com booking printout, which turned out to be incorrect.

It has everything you need to prepare meals and they prepared a lot of baby equipment for us.

The contactless check-in process went very smoothly. The host was super attentive, we enjoyed the cake for breakfast. They had many toys and games that we could play with our young kids, and It was super fun! Thank you for your hospitality. The location of the accommodation is nice, super close to the train station, but it might be a bit too far from the city center if you have to walk. Aussee is a cute little village and worth to visit.

The fact that the parking spot provided for guests was on a grassy area made it less ideal especially when it rained as it got muddy. Fortunately, we were able to move our car and park for free at the train station, which is very close to the house. The kitchen and dining area smelled like someone had smoked in there, so unfortunately, we didn’t really use it during our stay. It also seemed like the floor hadn’t been properly mopped before our arrival, as our socks got very dirty, something we hadn’t experienced in previous apartments we rented. Overall comfortable stay with a few minor setbacks that can be improved :)
