Location isn’t the greatest, but we also in Anchorage Alaska

The place was clean and comfortable.

I hope that a reader will take the time to read this entire review. The few days that we happened to be staying at Cozy Anchorage Retreat, the adjacent alley and a next door “inn” was teeming with homeless people and/or druggies. So the area was definitely sketchy, even if the Cozy Anchorage Retreat was not directly affected. People seemed to respect the fence that encloses the property. On the second morning of our stay, however , we were able to observe a massive federal and city police operation to shut down the inn. (Google Chelsea Inn Anchorage which should give one an idea of what transpired.) Our host was kind enough to release us from the remaining days of our stay and to fully refund the nightly fee, so we moved elsewhere, and when we drove by the place a few days later it was a different neighborhood entirely! Anyhow, back to the Cozy Anchorage Retreat itself; definitely needs more attention to what is available in the kitchen, maybe some chairs with backs and not just stools, and certainly better lighting.
