The Butchers Loft - Martinborough Holiday Home

This accommodation has so many outstanding qualities, the location excellent, the cleanliness, comfort, appliances, set up is all immaculate and really enjoyable. The outdoor deck area is large, with a portion covered so could be used in all weather. The outdoor furniture was of great quality too. A BBQ was supplied, which we didn't use, but being above a butcher would be super convenient for that! The bathroom was lovely, the shower and water pressure great! Spacious and very comfortable. Being right on the square you are spoilt for choices for food places!

I think this really comes down to why you are staying in Martinborough, but the butcher below you is operational 7 days a week from 6am. The noise that comes from down there is constant, so if you are out and about doing lots of sightseeing etc you won't be bothered much however, you will be guaranteed an early wakeup call with the 6am opening time. The noise is from the meat hooks and it is very loud you can feel the vibration in the floor. The back end of the property is potentially above the chiller/freezer in the butcher and there is a constant 'hum' of the motor and vibration that can be felt/heard in the still of the evening.

Very comfortable place to stay with large deck and comfy outdoor sofa and chairs. Clean and tidy and very central location.
