Great large apartment very close to the Gabriel-Peri metro station, for an easy access to Paris. Considering the full kitchen (full size fridge with freezer, stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc.), it's very convenient that there are several food stores within a walking distance. Very luminous, and all the windows have blackout curtains so you can control the brightness in the apartment. The area and the apartment felt very safe. Having access to a safe, indoor parking place is definitely a plus!
This was out of the control of the host, but the elevator wasn't working when I arrived, and the lights in the stairwells weren't the most reliable, making the trips up and down the stairs tricky (the elevator was fixed at the end of the second day). It might sound a bit silly, but the toilet seat was very high, and my toes were barely touching the floor - it might be worth considering if you have mobility limitations and/or if you are travelling with children.
