A mosquito net would have allowed better sleep. The apartment door key needs a little patience to understand how it connects and turns. Parking at Verdun is expensive at 27 euros per day.

Good

The rooms are spatial and airy (cool in the hot summertime). Through the windows you can overlook the beautiful Hotel de ville. The location is fine.

There were smells from the toilet. Mosquitoes came in during the two nights and disturbed our sleep.

The view was AMAZING! The temps were great and there was a nice breeze coming through the windows. It was awesome!

The kitchen sink might have been a little cleaner but we didn't use it so it was fine!

Never again

The location and the view.

The place needs a cleanup. A VERY good cleanup. The bathroom smelled so bad we dreaded to use it. The bed felt like a plywood board with a sheet on it and my girlfriend slept on the couch because the bed gave her back pain. Never again.

Hard beds and a tiny tiny shower

Location is very good, just outside the Paris ring road. It does make it a bit more challenging to get a taxi as they don’t appear to like going outside the ring road when it is late but that’s where Uber comes in. Also has a lovely outlook and plenty of cupboards and drawers to store your stuff.

Hmmm. Where to start? Firstly, as requested, we had put down our time of arrival (11am). Even though we arrived within that timeframe, our host Julien seemed to have no idea of the timing of our arrival. All we wanted to do was drop our bags and go out again as we knew at 11am it was too early to expect access. Eventually, Julien figured something out and we got in and dropped our bags and changed clothes (having been traveling for 28 hours). Secondly, what you see in the photos is NOT what you get when you arrive. The photos show carpet in the living room - it’s wooden floor boards which are nice but noisy. The shower in the bath was tiny. The handles had masking tape over them and the bottom drawer in the shower was lined with toilet paper (yuck). Last but certainly not least, the main bed was incredibly uncomfortable - it was like sleeping on a rock. We had to get all the extra duvet inners and put them under the mattress to make it even a little bit more softer. We then put our 15 year old son in that bed and slept on the pull out sofa bed which was a bit more comfortable.

Great location, just 5 min to the metro and within 15 min in the Center of Paris. The neighborhood is very calm and residential, supermarket close by. Very good communication with the host.

Apartment and furnitures could need some fresh-up. We spend little time there and used it as basis for all our trips and sleeping only, so no problem at all. Great basis and value fir the price.

Nice place to stay with good Metro access

The location of this property is great. It's a short walk from the metro in a nice area of Paris - clean and safe. You can see the town hall and park from the windows of the apartment, a lovely view from the living/dining area. The facilities were as described. The property is on the top floor of the apartment block, and there is a lift up to the apartment. The heating in the apartment was good. It was easy to get into the apartment (the owner did not meet us, but the directions were easy to follow).

There was a little back blow of smelly air in the bathroom some of the time we were there - solved by keeping the window in the bathroom open. The main bed was very hard - I cannot think of a harder bed I've slept in! I'd not describing the apartment as and amenities as "new/renovated" but certainly adequate for a holiday stay.

Very good

Very nice surroundings, close to metro station, supermarkets, restaurants and shopping center. Very nice area and very nice view specially on Xmas time. Owner also allowed us to leave luggage as our flight was during the night.

I really like everything the only feedback that I writte to the owner is to take care of small details like worn towels and also some bedlinen. All very clean but a bit worn out. If replaced it would like much nicier.

Excellent value large apartment with panoramic view of town hall

The apartment is big and is very well equipped with cooking facilities, washing machine etc. The view from the top floor is amazing and the area is nice and quiet. The Anatole France metro stop is close by and there are a number of grocery stores nearby to purchase food and other essentials.

The lift is a little small but it is new, fast and efficient. As we were a party of 4 it took a bit of time to get luggage and people up (for those of us not wanting to climb the 6 flights of stairs) but all in all this is not a problem.

Mixed feelings. Despite of many problems the appartment worked well for a six day vacation.

The location near to the metro station, the spectacular views and the size of the appartment made an impression. We stayed for six nights and - despite several shortcomings - the apartment worked well for us.

The biggest problem in the apartment was a clearly moldy and smelly bathroom. The exhaust air valve was covered in mold and had hardly ever been cleaned. The bathroom window had to be kept open all the time, otherwise the smell would spread to the rest of the apartment. Of course, this wasn't a problem during summer time and it didn't bother us too much during our stay. However, I wouldn't stay there too long or recommend it for people who are sensitive to moisture or mold. Other shortcomings were the level of kitchen equipment (1 wine glass, 2 coffee cups, etc.), very hard mattress in the bed and super tiny elevator in the stairway. One really annoying thing was the door buzzer that couldn't be turned off. On Friday and Saturday at almost midnight, the buzzer was rung several times and at one point the idiots even got on the stairs to knock on doors.

Broken stuff

I'm not sure if the sheets were washed before I checked in, for me the first red flag is that I don't smell detergent in the bed sheets. TV remotes does not work. Broken baby crib. Very small bed for couples.

Excellent and convenient stay. Will definitely recommend

The view was amazing. Furnishing of the place is well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the location had multiple supermarkets at walking distance. We cooked our food on most of the days of stay. Very easily accessible metro 5 to 7 min walk away and a bus stop right opposite the building. Pharmacy and restaurants located at close proximity. Overall a great stay. We shall definitely book again on our future trips.

Appartement peu accueillant manque de déco chaleureuse, on peut parler de vetusté dans la chambre. VENTILATION SDB très très bruyante, (est certainement à changer ou a régler) problème d'évacuation douche et lavabo et fortes odeurs d'égouts qui remontent. Nous avons été obligés de laisser la porte de la SDB fermée pour ne pas avoir d'odeurs dans la pièce principale. Literie moyenne.
