We would stay there again.

The layout of the home worked well for us—plenty of beds. The western theme is cute. It is bigger than it looks in the pictures.

The driveway was plowed somewhat, but it was not able to be used by our large van due to the heavy snow, so we had to park on the street. The upstairs bunk room is a loft with no door and a half wall to the downstairs, so sound and light travel right up there. The upstairs is super hot, while the downstairs bedrooms were very cold. We blocked the upstairs vents with suitcases, and still it was very hot up there. The people downstairs would have liked an extra blanket in their rooms. The master bedroom toilet was clogged on arrival.

It was a nice place that was convenient for our purpose of visiting the Arkencounter!

It was a quaint place in a decent neighborhood! It was a great location for visiting the Ark and loved the water pressure in the shower!

The creeking floors and beds but didn't dampen our stay! The neighbors were kind of shady but did not have any interaction with them! There was a van with a sign in the window with vulgarities written on it threatening bricks would be thrown at speeders if they didn't slow down! We never saw any violence though!

Great location, easy access to the ark. Everything we needed was there.

There was a problem with the heat, the heater would not turn off and it got extremely hot in the night. We finally had to open the windows and doors to get it cooled down enough to be able to sleep the second night. We had the same problem, but we knew what to do. Then, we just went down to the basement and turned off the heater.

A cute little cottage with lots of beds.

A whole lot of beds and adequate bathrooms for a large group. It had a kitchen with some storage space for food.

The kitchen was tiny and most of the cupboard space was already used so there wasn’t anywhere to store food. The table only sat 6, 8 if the kids sat hip-to-hip, and there really wasn’t anywhere other place to eat except outside. There also wasn’t a room big enough for our family to do activities together.

The lady we dealt with was very, very nice.

Spacious. Location was excellent. Easy to find. Lovely antique furniture. Vessel sinks were very nice. Nice showers. Host quickly remedied the thermostat problem over the phone. We cut our stay short because we were exhausted -- not because we did not like the accommodations.

Thermostat was on 56 degrees when we arrived. Floors and window sills were not as clean as thy should have been. The quilt under the bedspread in the master bedroom (behind the kitchen) was too small for the bed. The toilet in the hall bathroom was too close to the sink.
