Boutique garden apartment near Bruton and The Newt

The host was excellent and so friendly.

The property was clean, comfortable and everything we needing for a weekend away.

Amenable host, clear instructions to get in. We communicated via messages and ended up turning up late at 10pm which Charlie was fine with. Instructions were clear so we were able to let ourselves in. Charlie has a great eye for colour and there was a lot of attention to detail in the decor of the apartment. The apartment was super clean and comfortable and we felt like we were staying at a Soho House! The toiletries smelled divine. There is a patio out front with a table and chairs to relax in and to admire the garden. Wifi was good and there was a generous parking space for our car. The location was perfect for visiting Bruton, Hauser & Wirth gallery and the Newt.

The location is convenient and having a dedicated parking spot was definitely a plus. The apartment itself is spacious with a bedroom, bathroom and open kitchen and worked well for a one-night stay. I also met the host during my stay and he was very friendly and welcoming.

The apartment (bed, floor, shower) was unfortunately not as clean as I would have expected, and the coffee machine is in need of some descaling. Not a negative but be aware: The patio overlooks the hosts' private garden and is of course used by them, so it doesn't feel too private. The roads leading up to the property are quite narrow, which is something to keep in mind when arriving by car.
