Good location to get to and from Bruton

I loved my stay—the accommodations and area were delightful, and I hope to return soon!

When unexpected travel came up the day before my stay, I realized I might arrive quite late to the property. Charlie responded immediately and provided all the information I needed to arrive at whatever time worked for me. I ended up getting there around 11 p.m., and he still met me to show me around—even though he had already made it easy for me to let myself in without any issues. I really appreciated the warm welcome and his helpful introduction to everything. He also shared a ton of great recommendations for the area.

Honestly it had everything I needed! They have thought of all the essentials- including a milk frother! What a treat that was to discover. I only wish I'd had more than one night!

Peaceful night in cosy annex

We stayed for one night. Location near to where we needed to be. It was warm and cosy, modern kitchen facilities with coffee machine and milk frother. Pint of milk, teabags and sugar. Bathroom good size, nice shower and toiletries. Bed on the soft side for us but comfy for the night. No tv not an issue as digital radio to listen to and we like each other so could chat! Woken to bird song, lovely. We would stay again.

Location tricky to find on main road, maybe a photo of the outside of property or the garage space to help locate when arriving in the dark.

Beautiful and comfortable annexe. Perfect for couples/ friends exploring Somerset

Beautiful annexe, exquisitely finished. Great coffee machine, kitchen well equipped for two. Bed was super comfy and en suite perfection. We arrived late so didn’t seethe terraced garden until the morning, but on a sunny day would be lovely for morning coffee.

We arrived late (opted for a lovey local Sunday lunch as check in options are so late) and the lane is super dark/ poorly lit. Despite the gps location the house isn’t clearly marked and we had to ask a dog walker for help (he was odd TBH)

At a push, but this is finding something, more cooking utensils like some tongs or a spatula (not finding them if available could be user error!)

Comfortable stay in a quiet location.

Clear instructions sent by the owner which allowed us to access the property easily. Bathroom and kitchen area were very well done.

Would have been useful to know that there wasn't a television so we could have took a laptop but not a major issue. Would have been useful to have more than two of everything in the kitchen e.g. bowls, spoons, glasses etc.

Perfect location for a quiet Somerset countryside break

Fabulous accommodation in a great location for visiting this part of Somerset. It had everything we needed for a short trip away, peaceful location, and a great host. Would highly recommend.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property as it was super and have some suggestions on how to make it an even greater stay for fellow travellers: - a simple ‘how to’ folder covering the appliances (hob, coffee machine, heating, WiFi), suggestions on where to visit and go to eat and a bit of background on the area - how guests can help to recycle and sort rubbish for collection - a few additions to the kitchen area including a spatula, tongs and kitchen roll None of these suggestions are deal breakers as we had a great stay and are things we thought about that would have made our stay more complete and help other guests too.

A perfect place for a getaway!

Everything was super easy and the place was perfect. Charlie (the owner) was lovely and helpful. I really appreciated the milk in the fridge! The place was beautiful.

A place away from it all

Clean and comfortable. Owner checked in, via, phone, to see if we had everything. Which gave us the opportunity to get the WiFi password.

An friendly dog was determined to get our attention first thing in the morning as he wanted to come in and join us.

A television was not provided, this wasn't a problem for us but we thought it may be a useful addition.

A clean and comfortable apartment in a great location.

Excellent location. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with all we needed for a nights stay. Lovely decor and our hosts went to the trouble of going to get me a hairdryer which was provided very quickly.

Nothing we didn’t like. Would be nice to have a table in the kitchen area and maybe a rug or some artwork on the wall in that room. All small details though and we had a very comfortable stay.
