Villa Maison Pastis Canggu

The place is beautiful, really spacious and it has that Bali special feeling that allows you to relax and enjoy. The internet/wifi was really good (like +100Mps both download and upload). There were some issues with the booking and the cleaning and so they said they will refund me the last night and also offered me a discount because of the issues with the cleaning, which is really appreciated.

The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, and the beach is within easy reach. If these issues don’t bother you, I would still recommend staying here because the area is one of the best

The biggest issue was that there seems to be a problem with the sealing of the villa, as there were geckos and large lizards everywhere. I found them throughout the villa, including several times on or around the bed. I understand that wildlife is common in Bali, but the number and size of the lizards suggested they were getting inside too easily. The cleanliness could also be improved. The bed sheets looked worn, with stains and small tears, and they had an unpleasant smell. While the villa itself is lovely, I think these details take away from the overall experience, especially considering the price. With better cleaning and improved sealing to prevent the lizards from getting inside, this would be an outstanding place to stay

everything about thsi stay was superlative. The cottage was so so beautiful and the pool was lovely.

Great amenities, even better than on the Photos! Everything is fairly new and the houskeeper lady makes sure that everything is immaculately clean. The direct location was not great (in an allyway), the overall location was excellent tho. The host also arranged a scooter - and everything else we could wish for!

The pool was a little green and murky on arrival, but the host immedietely arranged a professional pool cleaner to take care of it and just a few hours later the pool was super clean and perfectly enjoyable!
