Pros This apartment offers generous space and a well-thought-out layout, set within a quiet, safe and unnoisy neighbourhood. Bedrooms are comfortably sized with ample wardrobe storage and AC throughout. Bathrooms are spacious; we also appreciated reliable hot water during our July stay. Two metro stations-Baldo and Valle Aurelia-are within easy reach. Near the Valle Aurelia station you will find the Pam supermarket, Aura mall, and numerous dining options, most notably the Old Wild West restaurant serving excellent Tex-Mex cuisine. We managed to do day trips to the Amalfi Ravello, Caserta, Tivoli etc. From Baldo station, guests can travel directly to Roma Termini to connect with high-speed trains-with advance booking and careful planning. Local taxis are also very reasonably priced, to the Vatican and Termini. Over our six-day stay, we easily explored Rome, the Vatican and surrounding areas, and found the apartment perfectly spacious for our family of three. While there are many restaurants in the area, we often ordered delivery via Just Eat after long days out.

While the apartment is attractive and spacious, it lacks practical touches and appears neglected. Presented in a minimalist style, it offers very few comforts and feels rather sparse compared to typical accommodation standards. Several items require urgent attention: Bedroom pillows are deteriorating and no longer fit for use. All non-stick cookware is heavily scratched; there are no stainless steel alternatives available. We felt uncomfortable using these items, so we did not cook at all. Most cutlery is scratched and discoloured; only four pieces of stainless steel cutlery are provided. Single beds have no headboards. As noted in the photos, there are no curtains or sheer net voile on windows. Additionally, we experienced daily evening power outages-one lasting two hours- which meant electric shutters could not be opened, leaving bedrooms completely dark. The living area only has a two-seater sofa despite plenty of space to fit some decent L-shape sofa, and the list goes on. The property has great potential, but lacks the warm, welcoming feel expected of Italian hospitality. Unlike our other stays across Italy-even in smaller apartments-we noted high hospitality standards where guests are treated with refreshment hampers however in this apartment fridge was bare empty. With temperatures reaching 37°C, it would have been thoughtful to leave at least one ice cold water bottle for guests arrival. Overall, this stay fell short of the standards we have come to expect elsewhere in Italy.

The apartment is big, with all new appliances and furniture. The listing and photos are accurate. Less than 10-minute walk to the Baldo Metro A station with bus stops also on the corner. Elevator is convenient, but accommodates at most three people. PAM supermarket and smaller markets all nearby (they close early!). Rental agent is responsive and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy.

The washer and dryer work differently than what American users might be familiar with. User manuals are available, but hard to read on your phone. The apartment would benefit from instructional cards posted nearby the appliances.

L’appartamento è grande, abbastanza nuovo e dotato di tutto il necessario. Purtroppo però abbiamo riscontrato alcuni problemi durante il soggiorno. Nel complesso l’appartamento è valido, ma ci sono alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati.

Siamo arrivati dopo l’orario di check-in previsto (15:00), ma abbiamo dovuto aspettare fino alle 16:30 perché le pulizie non erano ancora terminate. Nonostante questo, sul balcone abbiamo trovato delle unghie tagliate lasciate probabilmente dagli ospiti precedenti. Inoltre, una delle docce era otturata e abbiamo dovuto contattare il responsabile per farla sistemare. Infine, nell’ultimo giorno sono arrivati dei tecnici per controllare un condizionatore: eravamo stati avvisati, ma non è stato particolarmente piacevole avere un intervento durante il soggiorno. Per chi è un po più sbadato attenzione a non dimenticare come nel mio caso una AirPods nell’appartamento perché questa non verrà restituita dicendo che non è stato trovato niente dal personale.

Super Lage in der Nähe der Metro. Perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden was man für ein paar Tage benötigt. Ruhige Lage mit schöner Aussicht von der großen Terrasse. Sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Schnelle Kommunikation und steht immer für Information zur Verfügung. Alessandro war sehr freundlich bei der Wohnungsübergabe und hat uns alles ausführlich erklärt bis alle Fragen geklärt waren.
