Lovely location and nice walks for my dog

The was sewage running into the river from the Pub and the smell was horrendous . So something really needs to be done about that .

Absolutely brilliant cottage. Extremely clean, cozy and comfortable he had everything we needed, and considering we went during a heat wave, the property stayed relatively cool which was pleasant! Some people have mentioned the sound of vehicles keeping them up. This really was not the case for us and we had the windows open wide, perhaps the long walks made us too tired to notice! Very pleasant, would recommend and would go again!

The bedroom was very close to the road so we had to keep the window closed. This made the room even hotter during the heatwave. The pub opposite seemed to regularly discharge effluent waste into the river which produced an unpleasant smell. ( is this legal?? We could not get terrestrial channels on TV.

Getting in and out of the cottage was a real pain especially with a dog on the busy road. Traffic noise was as expected though. The kitchen and bathroom are very tired. The spiral staircase was tricky and dangerous in socks. The small courtyard was scruffy with very old and rusty garden furniture. The front garden was very untidy but as it was dangerous for entering and exiting the cottage, we didn't really use it. The small lounge was cosy with a really comfy sofa. Cottage looks.much bigger in the pics than it actually is.
