Vatican New home in Rome

overall location - bus stops and underground within short walking distance - swimming pool 50 m from location - very calm environment

The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with a good size balcony. 15 minute walk to the Metro which was good. Garage next door had a great little cafe with friendly staff. We had breakfast there most mornings. A laundry room with washing machines which were very useful and we used 3 or 4 times. Our Host Emanuele was superb. Friendly and so helpful. Gave us details of good restaurants which we used more than once and details of the nearest beach which we loved and went there twice. The gardens and tree lined driveway are beautiful.

The pool, cafe or restaurant not open during our stay. This is something I am taking up with Booking.com as they did not inform us correctly. Disappointed that our apartment wasn't cleaned at all during our 10 day stay with no change of bedding or towels. On asking Emanuele he did provide us with clean bedding and towels. As I had washed our clothes we hung them on the balcony to dry but we were asked to only hang them inside the balcony. I appreciate this but I think a clothes airer should be provided.

The location is really nice , quiet , close enough to all the attractions, the host really nice

.

Struttura comoda e pulita. Completa di tutto.

Anche se c’era una caffettiera, l’unica “pecca” è non avere avuto a disposizione una macchinetta del caffè (tipo nespresso o similari) con cialde disponili e qualcosa per la colazione.
