Host & Stay - Hutton-le-Hole Cottages

Lovely cottage in prime location of village, good secure parking facilities. Everything required for stay was available including hoover, ironing board and iron. Very comfortable beds with all clean linen and towels etc available.

Only reason for one mark off on cleanliness score was we came across a couple of cobwebs ( appreciate in the country and old buildings ). One hanging down from ceiling in bedroom corridor and one behind toilet in bathroom. Did not put us off at all but just for feedback reference.

We had a wonderful stay , the property is lovely & modern , place is spotless , beds are super comfy . Location is great right in centre of the beautiful village with amazing walks & pub on your doorstep . The lady who manages the property was super friendly & helpful . Also great gardens for catching a bit of sun .

Lovely village and cottage. Good location of cottage in the village.

Requested no feather pillows and quilt due to allergy. Property confirmed this could be accommodated at time of booking. On arrival this had not been followed through. Eventually got through to host and stay who contacted the owner to get someone to swap out. Got told this wouldn't happen until the following morning.this meant no pillows or quilt for the night. We were expected to except this. Ended up unable to sleep at the cottage that night. Then got told from the owner they couldn't accommodate swapping them on this occasion?? We ended up having to get some pillows and a quilt so we could stay at the cottage as host and stay would not refund our money as we had not taken a cancellation policy. As host and stay take the money as soon as you press book from then on you have no chance of getting any money back even if its there fault for not providing adequate bedding as requested. Apart from this everything else was OK. Our guest experience on this occasion wasn't a very good one
