We just checked out today after a 4-night stay at this home. It was a great experience. The house was clean and had all that we needed such as kitchen and laundry supplies. The owner, Lynn, kept in daily contact with us to make sure that all was well and to offer helpful suggestions/travel ideas. She even went above and beyond by offering to give us farm fresh eggs and a loaf of sourdough bread. The fire starters and firewood were all nice to have on site, and there's a nice little patio with a fire pit where we enjoyed roasting hot dogs one night. Being as this house is on a dead end road, there was very little traffic, so I didn't worry about our children being outside and riding their bikes on the property. There's a beautiful view of the lake, but it's not so close that you can hear noisy boat traffic. It's close to marinas, so it's a quickly trip to put boats in. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who is wanting to visit Dale Hollow Lake! I wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved our stay at Moonlight Ridge, the pictures do not do it justice. The house is beautiful with amazing views of the lake. The hosts go above and beyond. If you forgot anything for your stay they have extras on hand. The home was clean with plenty of extra linens. I look forward to booking again. I cannot say enough good things about our stay.

We were looking for a quick getaway and the owners were kind enough to squeeze us in. The cabin was close enough to several marinas but off the main roads so we didn't hear any traffic. The back porch is surrounded in trees and a beautiful spot to enjoy dinner. The fire pit is amazing with a lit path and finished surrounded so you're not sitting in the dirt or grass. Chairs and firewood were provided. We had amazing views of the sunset from the upper deck and were able to see some of the fireworks from the marinas. We didn't use the walking paths down to the water but would definitely do so when we stay again. This is great location for a couple or small family to get away and enjoy some time in a great setting. It had everything we needed for a long weekend at Dale Hollow!

my husband, and I had the opportunity to stay over the fourth. We loved the views from the balcony out front, checking out the amazing sunset was enjoyed every evening. The back deck offered lots of privacy, and there was an amazing fire pit where we spent time with a few friends. The location was far enough away to offer peace and quiet and less Lake traffic, but very easy to get to several boat ramps. We didn’t take advantage of the nearby hiking spots where you could get down to the lake, but will definitely do that in the future. Great getaway! Private owners rather than a corporation who checked in with us and had lots of personal touches. Will definitely stay here again.
