We absolutely loved staying here! The view was gorgeous, the house was clean and a great floor plan. We had 11 adults (5 of which were in their 20s and didn't mind bunk beds), and plenty of space. They provided bath and lake towels along with shampoo/conditioner/soap and hair dryer. They even have a tankless water heater. They had everything we needed for the kitchen.
The back porch was fabulous, and we also enjoyed the firepit even though it was 97 in the daytime (bring wood and chairs). We were happily surprised by the amount of shade in the yard at different times of the day. The parking was plentiful.
The blackstone grill was a big hit to our cooks' making hamburgers, hotdogs, corn, veggies and breakfast! There was plenty of storage for our food.
The covered slip for our boat was a huge plus. The only downside is that you have to drive through a very narrow space to get out to the main lake and you have to lower a bimini top. That said, it also made that part of the lake less busy...even for the 4th of July weekend-which made up for the tight squeeze.
The lake is not super deep right by the dock, so not as much diving off the dock. It would be good to bring water shoes because you can walk from the yard into the water which would be nice for little kids or non-swimmers. They have nice storage on the dock for any floats you bring.
Food Lion, Pizza and the ABC Store (hard liqueur) are only 5 minutes away!
***If we get the chance to come back...this is the house for us!
