Relax with the whole family at our lake house. This peaceful ranch style, lakefront 3 bed 2 bath home is perfect for a family getaway or a team while working. It is water front with its own private dock. We are located on Smith Creek, which is rumored to have some of the best fishing on the entire lake. Here at Serenity On Lake Gaston we are dog friendly and have no pet fees, yeah! There is a Nema 14-50 charging outlet for free level 2 charging of your Electric Vehicle. The deck and dock are newly refreshed. We have installed a whole house water filtration system to ensure clear and tasty water. The house is equipped with a high end washer and dryer. Several outdoor games and water toys are included for use during your stay like 2 single person kayaks, 1 youth kayak, 1 tandem kayak, a 3 person canoe, a pedal boat, corn hole, and ladder ball. There are some life vests available in a few sizes. We even provide a couple fishing poles and some basic tackle if the mood strikes you. Snooze next to the lake in the hammock. Maybe make s'mores at the fire pit. Also Included for rainy days is a gaming system with 10,000 games, some books and board games. The main tv is a Smart TV with chromecast and apple play compatibility, the master bedroom has an Amazon Fire TV and the 3rd TV has a Fire Stick. Netflix is provided. Bring your electric vehicle and 14-50 charger to plug into the 50 amp outlet to recharge for your trip home. The house has a king, queen, 4 twin bunks, and 2 futons. Every night stand has a wireless phone charging block. The kitchen is amazing and stocked with tons of goodies like 2 different sized crockpots, air fryer, mixer, both a Keurig and standard coffee maker, blender, and an electric kettle. There is a charcoal grill but charcoal is not included. Doggy clean up is a breeze with the waste station. Feel free to use the provided bags and drop them in the trash container. We will handle the rest. The water at the dock is great for swimming. It averages around 3 1/2 feet deep and the boat traffic is light so safety in the water is not a concern. We are super excited that we have finally exited the stone age! The house now has high speed internet. Guests have access to the main floor of the house. The basement is locked and off limits. We use self check in via code to a smart lock. There are 2 security cameras on the property. There is a Ring doorbell and a Ring spotlight camera that monitors the boats on the dock. They record video and audio based on motion. The boat dock is available during your stay and there is a public boat ramp about 6 minutes away by car so you could bring your boat and tie up to the dock to take advantage of the great fishing. The power boat that is there is off limits. Safety notes; There are no lifeguards on the lake so swimming and boating are at your own risk. The water only averages 3 1/2 to 4 feet deep at the dock, please do not dive. There are some life vest provided on the property but unfortunately we cannot accommodate every size for every person in your party. Please plan on bringing what you might need to stay compliant with the laws if you wish to participate in boating (especially childrens sizes).
