The rental home referred to as the Lowville Retreat was a perfect location for a group of old friends to meet and observe the total solar eclipse! The spacious layout of the home meant that everyone had their own bedrooms which were spaced-out between the upstairs and downstairs, providing a great deal of privacy for everyone. On the other hand, the homes large open kitchen and dining room, roomy living room, huge game room, deck and patio provided perfect spaces to gather, reminisce, and enjoy each other's company. We went to Lowville one night where we enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks at Jeb's Restaurant and we even enjoyed a strenuous hike at nearby Whetstone Gulf State Park. It was a great vacation that was made even better by the awesome accommodations.
