About this house rental
This is a beautiful house by the St. Lawrence River, it is conveniently located near the intersection of highway 401 and highway 416, 3 km to Prescott downtown; 10 minutes to US/Canada border; convenient highway access to Brockville, Kemptville, Gananoque, Cornwall, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Ogdensburg, New York state. Close to Thousand Islands, Thousand Islands National Park, diving, golfing, Aquatarium. While enjoy all the beauty that nature can offer, it also has connections to modern systems, fiber optic network, free WIFI. With 16 acres of backyard, the perfect blend of recreation and friendship, relaxation and discovery. There is a full-size deck with barbecue. There is a 265 feet private rocky beach with a modern dock (need to cross the road).
The house has been totally renovated with a modern kitchen, the sun room has a stylish fireplace insert and a small pool table. There are four bed rooms. The house has six beds, The master room has a king size bed, the large room upstairs has one queen size bed, and one double bed, the smaller room upstairs has one queen size bed and one single bed. There is also a bedroom at basement with one queen size bed.
The setting is beautiful. Come to enjoy the magnificent view of St. Lawrence River. To support long term stay and corporate guests, we provide weekly clean and change sheets. The use of kayaks and canoes is included in the booking, firewood is available on site and is free.

My family and I stayed a week here and really enjoyed it! There was definitely enough space for all of us, and we appreciated having central air on the hotter days. Check in was easy enough, with the key pad entry. The kitchen was well stocked with most things anyone would need, including BBQ tools. The water cooler was a very nice touch! The livingroom and game room were both comfy spots to relax, but we spent a good amount of our time on the front deck, enjoying the weather and beautiful view! Bed linens and towels were provided. We brought our dogs and cat with us which was a huge bonus. The dogs loved going with us across the road to the small, rocky beach. Being able to dock and keep my boat here would have made this rental even better. Unfortunately, it’s a straight dock (not an L), and between there only being about 3.5 foot of water on the one side of the dock, and the other side being rocky, I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. For planning purposes-bring washcloths (if you use them) as they aren’t provided, bug spray, citronella candles and mosquito coils are a must! The mosquitos were bad for a couple hours each night. If you plan on baking, bring measuring cups, and a whisk. There are curtains-no blinds on the windows, so if you have a little one who goes to bed before it’s dark, you may want to consider that when packing. Also, there are 2 TVs-one in the livingroom, and another upstairs in the bedroom with the queen and double beds.

The stay was great. Very hospitable, farm fresh eggs. Many beds to choose from and everything was really simple and convenient. I think the only thing that through us off was having to cross the road to get to the water but that’s on us for not looking ahead. All and all, we really enjoyed our stay and I would stay again.

Cozy, clean, calm, cottage with canoes! We stayed here once two summers ago and my son asked us about it this year, prompting us to plan another getaway. We booked two nights for us and our friends with their toddler. We spent the whole time in or around the house or the beach, relaxing. Kayaking on the river and seeing the goats are highlights each time. Renfu is very hospitable, answering all our questions and keeping the grounds tidy. We cooked using the barbecue and kitchen, and enjoyed! The game room was a hangout space for my kids and as an extra nice touch the house has some other indoor activities for children which my little ones loved. We hope to come back!
