Great location for Oktoberfest! House has some wear and tear, but cute decorations and great character. Plenty of space for 5 ladies for our girls trip - great bathrooom space! Close to several wineries and Anna Ruby Falls for activities away from the main road. Back patio with fire pit was a perfect space to enjoy breakfast and cocktails in the evening.
Plenty of parking for groups with a few cars - 2 fit in carport and 1 in front of house.
Lots of steps (but totally doable), so easiest to unload out front then park in the carport afterwards.
No toiletries in the house, but plenty of TP. There was not a Keurig to use pods, so we packed one along with a crockpot for one of our dinners.

We stayed here for a couples weekend took for Helen and Blue Ridge. The unit is located in the perfect location just steps from downtown. Newly renovated and very clean inside! The communication and check-in process for smooth and very simple. The only negative was that there were no toiletries like shampoo or body wash included, also no coffee or pods. So plan to bring your own! Other than that we would definitely stay here again and will absolutely be back to Helen!

This little home was very cozy, private (despite neighbors being so close, they're friendly), and the mornings are beautiful listening to the birds. Beware, bears attacked our trash can.
Only complaint was the air upstairs was loud.
Other than that, I can't brag enough!

Updated living room, kitchen, and bedrooms with beautiful decor. The convenience to town and restaurants was certainly a plus since we did not have to fight the street traffic nor search for parking places. As wonderful as this place was, I would not recommend it for families with kids or elderly because of the numerous sets of stairs, However they do state this in the listing. There was no access to washer/dryer but there is
an iron and board. There is a partially covered deck, which was great for relaxing with a cool beverage, plus there is a grill with all the necessary BBQ tools. The dining area was small with only 4 chairs and two bar stools.
The biggest disappointment was no curtain to cover sliding glass doors in the dining area and the afternoon sun made it impossible to sit there.
