This was the second time my daughter and I stayed at this perfectly located home. It was comfortable and clean with an inviting front porch that we took advantage of all three days. We walked to the beach, downtown and to the farm market.

Charming home located within walking distance to the town’s restaurants, shops, sandy sunset lit beaches, lighthouse and river. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home was perfect for our 3 night stay in downtown Frankfort. It had all the amenities we could have hoped for. Washer and dryer along with supplies for washing clothes and cleaning supplies. Coffee pods and snacks for our use, kitchen dishes and supplies for your eating or snacking. Two comfortable seating areas for watching tv, reading books or relaxing quietly. There is a large deck and chairs that are wonderful to sit and watch the many butterflies and hummingbirds visiting the flowers planted below. There is a lovely front porch with furniture if you prefer sitting in the shade and enjoying quiet and beautiful vintage homes of the neighborhood.
We especially enjoyed leaving our car in the driveway and walking the neighborhood and heading to the beach, shopping Or restaurants.
We also appreciated the ease to travel to other towns for exploring. We loved visiting the sand dunes, Fishtown, Traverse City wine country, Sutton’s Bay and more.

This is a great place for nature lovers who prefer to be closer to town. Centrally located and within a short walk to a paved walking/biking trail, restaurants, playground, and the beach. The only thing that could have made this place better was the smell in the living room. It could have been from the older furniture or carpeting but that wouldn't stop me from booking this vacation rental again. My husband and I loved the butterfly bush next to the front deck all day long since there were multiple butterfly and hummingbird visits.
