Overall, the condo in the residence tower of the W is a great location, the west pool was very family friendly and the layout was great for our family. The outdoor space was large and a huge bonus compared to other units and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all of the basics we needed for our stay.
However, there was just a basic lack of upkeep on property. We called about a water leak from the fridge that someone came to attend to while we were at dinner, but there was no communication about it being fixed, they left the towels on the kitchen floor, and it immediately leaked again trying to use the filtered water dispenser. The base of the kitchen island showed water damage and clearly had been an ongoing problem. In text communication, both questions regarding check in and check out went unanswered. There seemed to be a large disconnect between owners/residents and the staff on property to assist. We attempted to call the resident desk for assistance with a movie rental and they said they would be up twice but never came.
Wet West (the residence tower pool) was great, towels/sunscreen/water provided, attendants were friendly and the bar was open on the weekend days. Loungers were available each day we visited. The other pool mentioned was a fee of $125/day for non-hotel guests, so we did not visit. We did not take advantage of the beach setup due to the winds, but looked like a good spot.
Overall, the condo was mostly fine. Could use a little TLC tightening cabinets/ hardware/etc and some minor maintenance things. Great walkability and we enjoyed the large patio.

The veranda is so much bigger than the photos portray. The location is perfect with quick access to the beach and lots of restaurants.

Enjoyed our family vacation in this spacious condo. Everything was great, however being a condo, there were a few essential items missing in the cabinets that would have been nice to have, especially with being a family. Items such as a pizza pan, hot pad, cutting board, measuring cups, regular coffee mugs and a few other items my wife thought would be in the unit for a week stay per cooking. Overall the location was excellent! The gym was good and the pools were awesome, our overall experience was good. Being on the 5th floor was also a plus as the pools and gym were on the same level.
I don’t think I could go back to a hotel after being in a unit like this, definitely will use this place again, once back down!

The Condo is in a good location, very walkable to restaurants. It is clean and as pictured with spacious balcony. The resort fee you must pay is well worth it, as having chairs, umbrella and water bottles makes all the difference for a relaxing beach day. We also enjoyed the smaller quieter pool. Val was very accommodating allowing a late checkout due to our late flight home.
