Came for a relaxing weekend with a group of friends. We were really looking forward to spending a lot of time outside at the fire pit and using the hot tub (not pictured in the listing).
The inside of the property was very clean, though the pictures are not reflective the current condition of the house and the outside. The "pit" is actually a small fire bowl. We moved it out of the high grass to the driveway for a more comfortable experience. Consider bringing your own chairs and firewood. The hot tub was not fully filled and not very clean when we arrived. The bed situation in the loft was a bit odd with the twin (pictured in the downstairs) and a queen matress on the floor.
My group stays in the Berkeley Springs area every year for the past 6 years and this was our least favorite property.
I cannot say enough about Evolve being supportive of some of our concerns. However, the host was a different story. Proceed with caution when booking this place as there are other properties in the area that are much nicer for a similar cost.
